Photo Clipping
Photo Clipping path refers to creation of a vector path around an image in order to separate it from the background. This method of isolating an image from a background is very effective compared to other methods ensuring that sharp and defined edges remain.
The Photo Clipping process is also referred to as background removal, knocking out background, deep etching, image cut out.
The advantage with the photo clipping paths is that the background can be knocked off completely or retained, but in hidden form.
Compound Photo Clipping Path:
A compound path results from the combination of multiple paths for different product, or different colour within a single image. It is usually used for colour correction and for background cut out purposes. We provide all types of clipping path service, for example clipping path to remove background from an image and multiple clipping path for colour correction. All paths we provide are manually drawn.
Photo Masking
Photo Masking is a method of extracting or detaching the image from its background.
This is typically used on images with hairs, images that have softer and blurred edges, translucent or semi-transparent objects. Unlike clipping path, which is used on objects with more defined edges, masking can isolate the images where the edges are undefined and often merged with the background.
Masking an image is not a standard process and the level of difficulty will vary depending on the complexity of the image and the level of detail that needs to be extracted. Often this can be a laborious and time consuming process, but our team of artists who handle the Image Masking ensures that every masking job is of the highest quality.
